My journey in physiotherapy began with a Bachelor’s degree in India, where I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of clinical conditions during my internship. This early exposure allowed me to work with patients from various backgrounds, addressing musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory issues. It laid a strong foundation for my clinical skills and deepened my passion for helping people through physical rehabilitation.
After graduation, I worked for two years in both clinical and hospital settings in India, managing diverse cases and refining my assessment and treatment abilities. During this time, I developed a strong interest in sports-related injuries and rehabilitation. This interest, combined with a desire to expand my knowledge, led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy at Teesside University in the UK.
At Teesside, I enhanced my understanding of sports biomechanics, exercise physiology, injury prevention, and evidence-based practice. My academic experience was further strengthened through an internship at Yarm Sports and Physiotherapy Clinic. This placement allowed me to work closely with a multidisciplinary team and treat patients with a variety of athletic and non-athletic conditions, helping me develop skills in assessment, manual therapy, and individualized exercise programming.
I believe in a holistic approach to physiotherapy that emphasizes not only treatment but also prevention and long-term well-being. My goal is to empower individuals to lead healthier, more active lives through education, posture correction, movement retraining, and self-care practices.
With clinical experience from both India and the UK, and a strong academic foundation in sports physiotherapy, I am committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to support my patients in achieving optimal physical health and function.
