Ms. Viji Dharmarajan
My educational journey has equipped me with Bachelors of Physiotherapy from India and Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from Teesside University, where I gained a solid foundation in the principles of human movement, biomechanics, and sports-specific rehabilitation.
While pursuing my studies in physiotherapy, I had the incredible opportunity to gain practical experience by joining Yarm Sports and physiotherapy clinic. Upon joining the clinic, I was initially amazed by the diverse range of patients who sought treatment, each with their unique needs and conditions.
With years of experience from India and UK, especially from my placement in Redcar Rugby Union club, I’ve learned skills such as joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, tapping and stretching, to improve musculoskeletal function, alleviate pain, helping individuals regain and maintain their physical well-being.
I believe in the power of preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices. I encourage my patients to adopt habits that promote long-term physical health, including proper posture, exercise, and self-care practices. I look forward to assisting you on your path to better health and mobility.”
